Wyoming Governor Matt Mead along with the heads of the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality and the Wyoming Water Development Commission traveled to Riverton Monday to meet with the public about a long term source of drinking water.

The New South Park Footbridge?

No this is NOT the new pathway bridge that connects Sheridan Avenue (Near RENEW) to South Park but it is the temporary access across Little Goose Creek used by the construction workers as they installed footings, seen in the foreground, for the new bridge. The City of Sheridan awarded the bid to Stone Mill Construction for the bridge on November 8, 2011.

Hospital Auxiliary Gives 25,000 to Cath Lab Project

At their annual meeting late last week the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Auxiliary gave $25,000 in donations to benefit an upcoming project at the hospital. Hospital Foundation Executive Director Ada Kirven.

Ebooks Coming to Sheridan Library

Sheridan Fulmer Public Library along with the 23 county libraries in Wyoming have been working to sign a deal to provide ebooks to patrons, and that service should be available in the next week or so.

Area Salvation Army Christmas Donations Up

Nationwide Salvation Army red kettle donations during the Christmas season hit record numbers this year, totaling $147 million. That trend reached Sheridan this holiday season, according to Salvation Army Captain David Leonard.

This is the Sheridan Rampage, who won the 6th grade boys' division of the February Frenzy on Feb. 5, 2012, in Bozeman, MT.

They defeated the Bozeman Bulls in the championship game by a score of 38-14.
