Wyoming Senate Moves to Restrict Records Access

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - The Wyoming State Senate is moving to restrict public access to information from state agencies and local governments.

There were 61 voting members who showed up this past weekend to vote in the Sheridan County Republican Straw Poll for the Republican presidential candidate.

Poll: Drug Testing Before Benefits?

A bill that passed two-thirds vote last week and moved to committee would require drug testing for those applying for public assistance (HB0082). A person testing positive would be ineligible to receive benefits for one month after a positive drug test, with some exceptions.

Due to the President's Day Holiday, the Sheridan City Council will not be meeting tonight. They will however have a pretty full agenda Tuesday evening. The Council will be considering funding the economic development task force. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey.

Buffalo's Land Is Conference Champion In Wrestling

The Bison wrestlers had a good showing at the conference meet this weekend, with one taking the championship in his class and others finishing second and third.
At 120 lbs., Jonathan Land was crowned champion in that class.
Taylor Bell, at 126, took second in his class, and Kyle Burton, at 106, finished third.
As a team the Bison finished eigth of eight teams.
Moving on to the State Meet this weekand are Land, Bell, and Burton as well as Darby Scantling and Jonathan Rico.
