The Sheridan High School Baroque Orchestra kicked off the SHS December concert series on Thursday evening with Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 1. Later the Symphony Orchestra led off with the Brandenburg Concerto No. 2. And then after the formal concert an impromptu concert was held in the lobby. Wow, what an evening of orchestra music.
The art department with Sheridan College will be hosting an art sale on December 12 and 13 featuring a body of work made entirely by students. The sale kicks off at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Whitney Building Fine Arts Wing and runs until 9 p.m. It continues Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Buffalo City Attorney Ben Kirven told the City Council at their meeting Tuesday that he had received a settlement check from Hydro Construction to close an agreement between the contractor and the city in a dispute over damage at the city's waste water treatment plant.
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department issued a media release stating that hunters should be alerted that Gray Wolf Hunt Area 2, the Sunlight Management Unit northwest of Cody, closed December 6th at 9:10 a.m. The area closed because the mortality quota of eight wolves was reached.
