Lady General Milomilo Nanai ties the game at 42

On Saturday evening this shot by Sheridan's Lady General freshman Milomilo Nanai over North Idaho Lady Cardinal Danika Johnson was good to tie the score at 42. Sheridan was down 39 - 30 at the half and mounted a 12 to 3 run for the 42 - 42 tie five minutes into the 2nd half.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department announced that gray wolf Hunt Area 8, the Fish Creek Management Unit north of Jackson, closed Thursday at 2:40 p.m. The area closed because the mortality quota of seven wolves was reached.

UW Poll Shows Disapproval of Health Care Law

A University of Wyoming poll shows that a strong majority of residents continue to disapprove of the federal Affordable Care Act.

The health care reform law is opposed by 66 percent of the poll respondents, compared to 24 percent who approve.

The Cheyenne Police Department issued an Amber Alert for a 2-year-old girl that was abducted by her non-custodial mother. Police retracted the alert early Tuesday Police after Angeleana Tyler was found with her abductor, 34-year-old Misty Lea Stricker-Campos in Greeley, Colorado.

Elk Hunters Shoot Bear In Self-Defense

Hunters shot and killed a grizzly bear in Grand Teton National Park.

The park says that members of an elk hunting party opened fire on the adult male animal Thursday when it reportedly charged them. None of the three hunters was hurt.

The weekend's weather forecast calls for a skiff of snow by Sunday.
