Partners in Pink

Just prior to Saturday morning's "The Link - Partners in Pink" 4th Annual Run/Walk, a Breast Cancer Awareness Event, members from Sheridan County School District No. 2 posed for this photo op. The group of about 60 were part of the 700 or so that participated in the 10Km, 5K run/walk, 1.5 mile walk that started in Whitney Commons at 10:00 am and finished at the soccer field of the YMCA.

Buffalo Council OKs Grant Application For Compliance Checks

At their regular meeting this week, the Buffalo City Council approved a request from the Buffalo Police Department to apply for a grant for alcohol and tobacco compliance checks of local retailers.

What could have been a traffic stop ended in tragedy Thursday night when a motorcyclist sped away from a Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper just a few miles west of Arlington.

BRONCS / RAMS READY FOR THE FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS

FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs beat Cheyenne East in a thriller at Sheridan high school Friday night.

The Broncs held a 10-7 halftime lead and the game got wild in the 3rd quarter, East scored first to take a 14-10 lead, the Broncs answered and went up 17-14, East scored again going up 21-17 the Broncs answered that score again to go up 24-21.

The Broncs would scored with five minutes to play to extend their lead to 31-21 to wrap up a 7-2 regular season and a 3rd seed heading into next week's playoffs they host Casper Kelly Walsh high school Friday night.

Sheridan County Fire Bans Still Effective

While fire restrictions around the state are being lifted in several National Forest areas and counties, the bans are still active in Sheridan County. County Commissioner, Terry Cram.
