JCHC Board Gets Positive Financial Report For September

At their last meeting the Johnson County Healthcare Center Board of Trustees received a mostly positive financial report from Hospital Administrator Sandy Ward.

Police Shoot, Wound Casper Halfway House Escapee

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Casper police say one of their officers shot a halfway house escapee who drew a gun in a parking garage. The suspect was hospitalized Friday with a non-life-threatening arm wound and faces new charges.

FRIDAY LOCAL SPORTS RESULTS

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Broncs are 6-2 as they beat Casper Kelly Walsh Friday night, they led 13-3 at halftime then stretched that lead to 20-3 before holding off Kelly in the 4th quarter.

The Broncs close out the regular season next week at home against Cheyenne East.

BH / TR FOOTBALL - The Big Horn Rams jumped out to a 42-0 halftime lead and beat Tongue River 49-8. The Rams close out the regular season hosting Newcastle next Friday in a battle of 7-0 teams, the Eagles will close out their season on the road at Wheatland next week.

This upcoming Monday night, the Sheridan City Council will be considering the 2012 International Fire Code on 2nd reading. To inform business and property owners on the upcoming changes, Sheridan Fire-Rescue is hosting presentations that will address the new requirements that are part of the code.
