Dana's Journey in Photos

Local photographer H. Mike Roberts' "Dana's Journey: a Photo Show" is now on display on the Mezzanine of the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library through the end of January. The photos document Dana's progress through her treatment and recovery from cancer up to the wedding that she planned. Below are several samples from the black and white photos on display.

In 2006, the Cheyenne City Council voted to enact a city wide smoking ban that included all bars and restaurants. Almost six years later, and no real issues with the ban, the City of Casper is also contemplating approving a similar ordinance.

'Prepared' Residents Limit Fire Damage To Home

Residents at 343 East Heald Street in Sheridan used fire extinguishers to limit fire damage to the attic of their home Wednesday night, according to Sheridan Fire-Rescue.

The Sheridan college basketball teams played home games last night with Central Wyoming and swept two tight games.

The Lady Generals had a one point halftime lead against the Rustlers and other than an early tie score in the second half they led the rest of the way for a 72-65 win.

Sophomores Fallon Lewis and Laura Pelse led the scoring with 26 and 22 points as they go to 3-0 on conference play.
