It's Back

The first snow of 2012 has found its way to the Sheridan area. Motorists headed south near the Big Horn Junction CENEX station after work on Tuesday drove into heavy blowing snow at times. The Sheridan area is under a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 am MST on Wednesday for elevations above 3500 feet. Snow will continue tonight tapering off on Wednesday morning.

Transient in Custody For Destruction at Buffalo Church

St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Buffalo

St. Luke's Episcopal Church, along with the attached Bread of Life Food Pantry, were extensively damaged Sunday night by a transient that is now in custody.
Buffalo Police Chief Jason Carder said a call came in Monday morning about an open door at the food pantry and officers responded to the church.

26-Year-Old Wright Woman Dies In One-Vehicle Rollover

A one-vehicle rollover accident resulted in the death of a 26-year-old Wright woman when she was ejected from the 1997 Chrysler van she was driving early Monday morning just north of Wright.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department in Sheridan has announced a new Game Warden for the Sheridan region. Teal Joseph will work watercraft enforcement and other wildlife duties in northeast Wyoming.
