At halftime during the recent Sheridan Broncs & Rock Springs Tigers football game the following came over the public address system: "Sheridan High School Students and Staff are pleased to present a check in the amount of $2015.50 to the Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation to support the Welch Cancer Center project in Sheridan.

Drug Bust Nets Almost $200k Worth of Meth in Sheridan

Earlier this week members of the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office, United Stated Drug Enforcement Agency and the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation's Central Enforcement Team and Northeast Enforcement Team arrested four individuals in Sheridan for Conspiracy to Deliver and Delivery of Methamphetamine.

Fall Black Bear Areas 3-4 Closed

Fall black bear hunt areas 3-4 in the Big Horns closed for the season Thursday, September 29th after the fall quota of three sows was reached, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

A 32-year-old Sheridan woman was arrested for DWUI and then transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital after crashing her Trail Blazer into a parked steamroller Thursday night in Sheridan on Val Vista street.

Martha Hansen Dies at 97

CHEYENNE (AP) - Martha Hansen, the widow of former Wyoming Senator Clifford Hansen and grandmother of Governor Matt Mead, has died. She was 97. Mead announced Hansen's death, saying she died Thursday at the family ranch in Jackson.

Jo Co Hosts Public Meetings on Zoning

The Johnson County Planning and Zoning Commission hosted two public meetings Wednesday in Kaycee and Thursday in Buffalo to gather comments, opinions and input on the proposed zoning regulations they have worked more than two years compiling.

Flu Vaccines Available in Jo Co, Clinics Scheduled
