The Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Board recently approved a resolution supporting the City of Sheridan giving notice to the EPA of their intent to prepare a Watershed Control Plan for the area above the Big Goose Water Treatment Plant.

The Joint Corporations Elections and Political Subdivisions Interim Committee held their final redistricting public hearing for the state on Monday night in Sheridan, and Sheridan and Johnson County's Option "A" Improved plan was presented to the committee.

Little Guy Football @ Scrimmage Night

During halftime of the Cheyenne South v/s Sheridan high school football game on September 9th it was Little Guy Football scrimmage night for tackle players. On the north end of the field it was the Sheridan Colts v/s the Big Horn Cardinals where Colts #17 Liam Shannon ran for a score being chased by Cardinals #9 Jack Nance.

Sheridan Man Arrested After Car Chase with Police

A high-speed car chase ended in a 31-year-old Sheridan man's arrest after he crashed his car into a light pole on Bellevue and Loucks Streets while trying to elude police early Saturday morning.

19-year-old Sheridan College Student Dies in Climbing Fall

(Updated with memorial service information)- A 19-year-old Sheridan College student died from the results of her injuries sustained in an accidental rock climbing fall Sunday afternoon near the Red Grade Road, Bear Gulch trail area, according to information from the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office.
