Per the Wyoming Constitution, the State Legislature must redraw state legislative districts during the first budget session following the federal Census.
The Sheridan Senior Center received a donation in the amount of $2,500 from the Sheridan Rotary Club that will benefit the Senior Center's Home Delivered Meals Program.
The Sheridan North Main Street Reconstruction Project accomplished another milestone with the installation of medians from 5th Street north to 11th Street in the past few days. Work continues with drilling and placement of rebar in the area between 1st and 5th Streets. On Monday morning a finished portion could be seen in front of the old Taylor School building at 1030 North Main Street.
These pictures were sent from Nicaragua on Monday to Tab Barker, as his Project Schoolhouse completed their project last week in the small community of Kiwaska, Nicaragua. Project Schoolhouse constructed a 1,000 square foot school house complete with running water.
An organization that helps build schoolhouses and provide running water to rural communities in Nicaragua will hold a fundraiser this weekend in Sheridan. Project Schoolhouse's Tab Barker tells us about their Sod Farm Reunion.
