Smoke is still rising from the Reservoir Fire Burnout in the Shell and Adelaide Reservoirs area. This view looking south from the Bird Farm Road, near Big Horn, shows considerable smoke in the sky at 6:00 pm Sunday. Ten years ago today at 7:58 am the first plane hit the first World Trade Center tower in New York City. Whether close to the tragedy on the east coast or right here in Wyoming, most Americans felt close to the event in a way as everyone seems to remember where they were that morning.
