So Long Shade Trees

Phase I of the Wyoming/Park Area Reconstruction is underway. The contractor is removing trees throughout the project area on Burkitt St., Wyoming Ave. and Whittier St. - the trees shown here are in the 100 block of Wyoming Avenue. At present traffic is being detoured to Park and Whittier Streets to allow for the tree removal on Wyoming Avenue.

NWCCD Approves Budget

An operating budget of $25.9 million for fiscal year 2012 was approved Wednesday by the Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees. That is about $1 million more than last year's budget.

TSP and Delta Construction, Inc. are beginning to to see the fruits of their labor as Meadlowlark Elementary School on DeSmet Avenue is taking on form as it rises from its foundation. Just one month ago at the Board of Trustees Regular Monthly Meeting of June 20th a final completion letter for the demolition project was being generated.
