Johnson County Incident Command has issued a flood update for this weekend.
A Flood Watch is in effect from late tonight through Sunday evening.

In case you missed it, there are still last-minute opportunities to tour the Hole-in-the-Wall country west of Kaycee, but you must be there before 8am to register.
The Hole-in-the-Wall country was made famous by Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch, and numerous other outlaws that used the area to hide themselves and their livestock they had rustled throughout the area.

With the recent warm spell we've experienced and the threat of thundershowers throughout the weekend, the National Weather Service in Billings has issued a flood warning for the Tongue River near Ranchester.

Thursday we told you about the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory's confirmation of the first case of Equine Herpes Virus in the state of Wyoming. The horse is from Johnson County and is currently under quarantine.

Wyoming State Veterinarian Jim Logan reported the first confirmed case of Equine Herpes Virus 1 in a horse in Johnson County this week, but in a follow-up interview he said there is no reason for horse owners to panic, just be aware of the situation and take some common-sense precautions to protect their animals.
