Sheridan Receives $1.4 Million from SLIB Board For Crypto Upgrades

The City of Sheridan received some good news regarding the unfunded EPA mandate to safeguard the water treatment plant from cryptosporidium.

SHERIDAN BRONC GOLFER KAMRIN ALLEN DOES IT AGAIN

LOCAL GOLF - Kamrin Allen will be a senior this fall at Sheridan high school, he's qualified for the US Amateur Public Links course championships that begin June 27th in Oregon and now for the 2nd straight year Allen has qualified for the USGA's US Junior golf championships.

Allen got into the Junior field by winning a sectional qualifier in Billings at the Yellowstone country club he shot a two round total of 1 under par 143 to win by two shots.

The US Junior championships will start July 18th on the Gold Course and the Gold Mountain golf club in Bremerton, Washington.

The 25th Annual Bozeman Trail Days will be happening this weekend at Fort Phil Kearny State Historic Site near Story.

Hoopsters Hit Buffalo for Battle on the Blacktop

The 3-on-3 basketball tournament is this weekend in Buffalo.

The annual Battle on the Blacktop three-on-three basketball tournament will be in Buffalo this weekend, bringing in an estimated 2,500 people to participate and cheer each other on.

THE 2011 BIG HORN MOUNTAIN WILD AND SCENIC TRAIL RUNS OPENS FRIDAY

BIG HORN MOUNTAIN TRAIL RUN - The annual Big Horn Mountain Wild and Scenic trail run opens with the the start of the 100 mile race tomorrow morning at 10:00 in Scott park in Dayton.

The 50 mile, 50K and 30K races will all start Saturday morning.

Mountain snow conditions have effected this year's course set up, race organizer Michelle Maneval.
