Full Moon Rising East of Big Horn

According to "The Old Farmer's Almanac" the full moon rise in our area was at 9:05 pm June 15th however the surrounding hills delayed its appearance as indicated by this photo taken just east of Big Horn near Yellow Bird Ranch at 9:28 pm. For more see: http://www.almanac.com/moon/rise...

The Grass is Good in the Elk Pasture

Thanks to all the spring rain the grass is lush in the elk pasture as this elk, with several blades of grass in her mouth, pauses while chewing for this photo opportunity.

The WYO Goes to Wonderland

3 in 1: Mariah Olesen (center) plays Alice, along with her counterparts Rowan Heil as Small Alice and Madison Farr ad Tall Alice in the 17th Annual Tandem Production, "Alice in Wonderland, Jr.", opening June 15th at the WYO Theatre in Sheridan.

About 62 young people are playing the vibrant and imaginative character's in “Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Jr.”, the 17th offering from Tandem Productions in Sheridan.

Lady Generals volleyball coach Jennifer Weitzel

LADY GENERALS VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan college volleyball program has a new Head coach Jennifer Weitzel.

Weitzel arrived at the Hoffman Dome yesterday for the first time as the Head coach and we sat down and talked about the task at hand, filling out the 2011 roster and getting ready for the upcoming season.

Since they are getting a late start Weitzel says she's getting right to work. And she says she'll be contacting recruits right away.
