As the title song of an Alice Cooper classic declares, Lodge Grass Schools, per Lodge Grass Principal Jeff Ralston are “out for summer,” although not in the manner intended, thanks to flooding in the region.

Three days of wind and rain couldn't dampen the spirits of the 2011 4A Wyoming State Soccer Champions who are seen here with Senior Captain Zack Will pointing to "State Champion" on their well deserved award. It was Sheridan's first ever soccer championship as they defeated the Laramie Plainsmen who denied it from happening a year earlier on the same field. Scroll down for more.

Reservation Hospital Remains Closed

In a media release issued this afternoon from Charlene Johnson with Indian Health Services in Billings, she indicates that the outpatient clinic at the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Indian Health Service (IHS) Hospital continues to be closed following flooding in the area.

Doors to Close on Hand in Hand

The Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority Joint Powers Board were informed at their meeting Tuesday morning that the Hand in Hand Early Childhood Education Center in Sheridan will close its doors Friday, June 3rd.

MDU Postpones Planned Power Outage

Due to the weather, the MDU power outage that was planned for areas of Sheridan County early Wednesday morning has been postponed. A call from Jim Sorenson with MDU indicated that the recent rainfall has forced them to reschedule the outage for later this summer.
