Lots of Water Just South of Sheridan

Buffalo's Mattie Reid uses her head to score

With time running out Buffalo's Mattie Reid makes a header into the goal for her second score of the day off of a bounced ball from the corner kick by teammate Kaitlynn Armstrong. Buffalo's two scores in about 5-minutes after being down 4 to 0 to the Jackson Hole Lady Broncs started too late and when time ran out they were down 4 to 2.

Friday with time running out and rain pouring down in a scoreless game the Broncs send a corner kick high in front of the goal where the ball is deflected away from the goal into the leg of Sheridan's Zack Wiil who drills it back past the Riverton goalie for the only score of the game.

Broncs To Play for State Soccer Title

The State High School Soccer Tournament continues at the Big Horn Equestrian Center. The Sheridan Broncs advanced to the 4A State Championship game with a 1-0 win over Riverton Friday.

Downer Addition Flooding

There has been some flooding in the Downer Addition area.

The creeks and waterways in Sheridan County continue to rise with the continuous precipitation. Sheridan Police Chief Richard Adriaens says that there is one area that has experienced flooding.

Free Spay-Neuter Event Underway

Day one of the three-day free spay-neuter clinic hosted by Second Chance Sheridan Cat Rescue was a big success as hundreds of pet owners filled the Sheridan County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall Friday.

Sheridan Recreation District Trims Budget

Sheridan Recreation District Executive Director Richard Wright informed the Sheridan City Council Friday at a budget work session that the Rec. District has reduced their budget by $100,000.

Buffalo to Host NEWY Meeting Saturday

The Northeast Wyoming Municipal Leaders, or NEWY, will have their monthly meeting in Buffalo Saturday at City Hall beginning at 8:30 am.
