Car Fire in Downtown Sheridan Extinguished Quickly

The Sheridan Fire-Rescue Department responded to a vehicle fire on North Scott Street at approximately 10:20 Wednesday morning.

The Sheridan Broncs jumped on the Campbell County (Gillette) Camels twice in the first 10-minutes Tuesday night and never looked back as they made it three wins in a row. The final score seen here came midway through the 2nd half when Colby Wollenman took control of the ball, punching it past Camel's Brandon Swan and goalie Jordan Rueschoff. A media release from the Wyoming Department of Education and State Superintendent Cindy Hill indicates that a Sheridan education administrator will head the newly formed Learning Initiative Advisory Board.

POSTPONED: Willie Nelson Concert Tour

Tonight's Willie Nelson concert in Gillette has been postponed until September.

GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - Country music legend Willie Nelson has postponed upcoming concerts in Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota and Kansas due to illness.

Concert promoters announced the news a day before Nelson was supposed to perform at the 2,500-seat Wyoming Center in Gillette.

A Preliminary Hearing was held Tuesday in Sheridan County Circuit Court for Camie Paumer of Clearmont. Paumer was charged in March with a total of 9 counts, 6 felonies and 3 misdemeanors.

Wyoming Women Invited to “Leap into Leadership” Workshops

Two day-long workshops based upon the Leap into Leadership program will be held for Wyoming women (and interested men). One will be in Evanston May 11th; the other will be in Gillete May 12th.

Coming up in mid-May, the Wyoming Women's Foundation, the Wyoming Women's Legislative Caucus and Leap into Leadership invite women in the Cowboy State to the first-ever Leap into Leadership Community Workshops.

Sheridan Man Gets 4 to 7 Years for Marijuana Distribution

20-year-old Sheridan resident Joshua Thomas was sentenced on two separate charges Tuesday in 4th Judicial District Court in Sheridan.

SHERIDAN SOCCER SPLITS WITH GILLETTE

LADY BRONC SOCCER - The Lady Bronc soccer team lost their conference match in Gillette last night the final was 2-1 the Lady Broncs fall to 6-3 on the season.

They are off for the rest of the week and will play road games at Laramie and Kelly Walsh next week.

BRONC SOCCER - The Broncs hosted Gillette last night they jumped on the Camels with two quick goals in the first half from Riley Ryan and Gabe Dahmke.

They added another from Colby Wollenmen in the 2nd half and shut the Camels out 3-0 Head coach Kevin Riser.
