The U.S. Department of Interior has responded to a Freedom of Information Act request from former Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal. The response includes 76 documents and over 700 pages, much of it redacted.

Bison Head to State, Prepare for Regionals

The Buffalo Bison swim team will travel to Gillette this weekend for their State Meet, looking up to perennial powerhouse Lander, but confident they can challenge for the state title.
Coach Ron Chapin said the Tigers have won 14 straight championships and will be tough to beat, but the Bison have a legitimate shot at the state title.

Annual Quilt Show Begins Sunday at JoCo Library

For crafters or those interested in crafts, the Annual Quilt Show begins this weekend with the drop-off of quilts at the Johnson County Library this Friday and Saturday, and people can view them starting Sunday afternoon.

Scandinavian Dinner Sunday at St. Lukes

St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Buffalo will host their Scandinavian Dinner Sunday.

The Annual Scandinavian Dinner will be presented this Sunday, February 27 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Buffalo. The event features authentic-styled cuisine of the Scandinavian countries-Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

Lady Rams / Lady Eagles advance at Regionals

1-A / 2-A REGIONAL BASKETBALL - The Tongue River and Big Horn basketball teams opened up East regional play in Newcastle Thursday.

In the girls bracket the Big Horn Lady Rams advanced by beating Southeast 40-26.they face Pine Bluffs in the semi finals today at 4:00

The Tongue River Lady Eagles took care of Lingle 62-31 and move onto face Burns in the semi's at 5:30.

The Tongue River Eagles took a 71-56 loss against Lingle they will play Moorcroft in an elimination game at noon.
