Sheridan Athletes Go to Simplot Track Meet

This last week starting on Thursday Feb. 17 and going through Saturday Feb. 19 Sheridan High School indoor track and field athletes traveled to Pocatello Idaho to compete in one of the largest national high school track meets. This year was a great year with over 20 Sheridan athletes making it to Simplot.

Sheridan North Main Street Reconstruction

Looking south from the intersection of 8th and N. Main Street men and equipment from DRM Inc. have resumed utility work in the center - work zone - of North Main Street from 8th Street to 5th Street. Traffic flow has been narrowed and shifted to the outside, near the curbs, in both directions. Weekly progress meetings with WYDOT, City of Sheridan, ENTECH and the contractor DRM Inc.

A Center for the Performing Arts

The Sheridan City Council gave their approval of a grant application to renovate the WYO Theater and surrounding buildings making it the WYO Performing Arts Center.

The Sheridan City Council Tuesday night approved a resolution authorizing the submission of a $2 million grant application that will go a long way in expanding the performing arts in Sheridan.

Agreement Reached for Sewage Lift Station

An Agreement between the City of Buffalo and a landowner has been tentatively reached for the purchase of land to access the sewage lift station in the Cowboy Town Subdivision east of Buffalo.
