The Sheridan Broncs Fall to Laramie

On Saturday as the clock clicked down to zero Sheridan Bronc Isaac Carrel, needing a 3-pointer, launched a long ball that was close but no good. As a result the unranked Laramie Plainsmen upset the 3rd ranked Broncs on Sheridan's home court by a final of 43 to 46. Next up for the Broncs is a road trip to Gillette on February 18th to take on the #1 Ranked Camels.

In Hoops - The #5 Ranked Lady Eagles beat the #3 Ranked Lady Rams

The Tongue River fans were out in number complete with props as the number 5 ranked Lady Eagles from Tongue River beat their cross-district rivals, the number 3 ranked Lady Rams from Big Horn Friday evening in Dayton.

State Legislature Turns Down $38 Million From Feds

Federal money offered to Wyoming for unemployment benefits will go to other states. The Wyoming House rejected a plan to use 38-million dollars in federal funding to extend benefits to those experiencing long-term unemployment, and to keep benefits in place for those in re-training programs.
