Last summer the City of Sheridan installed a traffic control test “island” at the intersection of Wyoming Avenue and Whittier Street. This was done to prevent through traffic on Wyoming Avenue, and was the first step in what is known as the Wyoming-Park project.
The City of Sheridan held a special City Council meeting Thursday to hear the final appeal from Sheridan resident John Pruitt, who's appealing an order of abatement of a building on his property at 1135 North Crook Street. One problem, Pruitt was a no show for his own appeal hearing.
The Wyoming Hospital Association will launch a website next Monday that will give consumers the opportunity to look at procedural costs of any hospital in the state, including Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
