The City of Sheridan is ready for Christmas clean-up, as their green waste bins have been placed at various sites around the City for residents to drop off their Christmas trees.

HOLIDAY HOOP CAMPS - The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals will be hosting one day youth camps for boys and girls on Saturday at the Hoffman dome.

The Generals camp for boys in the 1st through 8th grades will be on Saturday from 8:00 to noon in the Hoffman dome the girls camp is for kindergarten through 8th grade and will run on new year's eve day from noon to 4:00.

1st Place Award Winner

It was this display at 1206 Emerson Street that was judged the 1st place winner in The Sheridan Press Residential Christmas Decorating Contest by an independent panel of Sheridan residents. As the 1st place winner Earl Vogt receives a $300 gift certificate from Landon's Greenhouse & Nursery.
