Things are moving along nicely on the $8.2 million new Welch Cancer Center on the west campus of Sheridan Memorial Hospital. The project is starting to take shape says Hospital Facilities Services Manager Rob Forister.

An announcement of several new physicians was made at Wednesday's Sheridan Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees meeting. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has more.

In mid October, the Sheridan County Commissioners approved to move forward with a traffic study around the County Courthouse that not only takes a look at vehicle traffic, but pedestrian traffic as well.

U.S. Senator John Barrasso spoke on the Senate floor Wednesday, where he reiterated his displeasure with President Obama's health care law. Barrasso said that Wyoming residents are concerned about insurance premiums going up.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Lawmakers charged with redrawing Wyoming's legislative districts say they expect to hash out competing proposals at a two-day meeting early next week.

Mullinax Inc. is expanding its coal offerings in Sheridan and will open a new processing and retail facility located on Fort Road on Monday, December 5.
