Ghosties and Ghoulies and Spookies on Parade: Annual Monster March Monday in Buffalo

Ghosts, goblins, superheroes, Barbies and more will be taking over Buffalo's business district on Halloween during the annual Monster March that will be happening downtown Monday afternoon.

Buffalo, Jo Co Get Update on Lake DeSmet Energy Project

Representatives from the Nerd Energy Group gave a presentation to city and county officials and a select few others on a proposed natural gas/coal to gasoline plant they are planning to possibly locate near Lake DeSmet.

Bison, Buckaroos Open Football Playoffs Today

Both the Buffalo Bison and Kaycee Buckaroos football teams will open their second seasons today, playing in the opening round of the playoffs.
In Class 3A, Buffalo will travel to take on the Star Valley Braves in their first round matchup, with kick off set at 6pm tonight.
Elsewhere in 3A, Douglas will host Cody; Lander will host Powell; and Green River will host Riverton.
The Kaycee Buckaroos will open their playoffs by hosting Hanna/Elk Mountain today at 1pm.

Got Meds? Dispose of Them Saturday in Buffalo, Sheridan

The third annual National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is this Saturday, and both Buffalo and Sheridan law enforcement agencies will be taking part.



STATE VOLLEYBALL - The Sheridan Lady Broncs and the Big Horn Lady Rams advanced to the semi finals at the state volleyball tournament in Casper yesterday.

Sheridan beat Riverton 3-1 and will play Gillette in one 4-A semi final at 4:30 the other 4-A semi final will have Laramie taking on Casper Kelly Walsh.

Big Horn beat Thermopolis last night 3-1 and will play Lovell in the 2-A semi finals this evening at 6:00. The other 2-A semi has Wright playing Pine Bluffs.

The Arvada/Clearmont girls lost 3-0 to Burlington and will play at loser out match today against Guernsey.

Glenn Murphy is doing it again - if this daylight sneak preview collage is any indication it is going to be a howling good time in a dark Story, Saturday nite. The place: 158 Fish Hatchery Road in Story. The time: 5:00-9:00 pm. Glenn says, "Join the scary fun at the outdoor haunted house! No Charge." This year's layout appears to be three times as large as last years so beware.

Sheridan Man Sentenced on Multiple Drug Charges

In a full 4th Judicial District courtroom Thursday morning, 21-year-old Trevor Dunham of Sheridan was sentenced to 5 to 8 years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges stemming from heroin and cocaine distribution in Sheridan.

Dayton Holding Public Meeting for TR Restoration Project

The Town of Dayton will hold a public meeting next week to discuss the upcoming Tongue River Restoration Project and also address reconstruction of park trails following spring flooding.

2011 WYO Gala Encores Begin Tonight
