Wyoming's Education Legislation: Fact Based?

Wyoming Senate President Jim Anderson recently said “education” was the “biggest social issue on the calendar” for Wyoming's current legislative session. Many bills currently careening through the legislature are ostensibly designed to improve both primary and secondary education in Wyoming.

Senator Barrasso Feels Health Care Bill Doesn't Address the Problem

U.S. Senator John Barrasso feels that there is plenty wrong with President Obama's health care overhaul.

Last week the U.S. House of Representatives voted to repeal President Obama's Health Care overhaul by an overwhelming vote of 245 to 149. U.S. Senator John Barrasso, who is a Physician himself, has strongly opposed what is known as Obama Care since its inception.

The Lady Broncs took down Laramie 67-39

BRONCS / LADY BRONCS - The Lady Broncs beat Laramie 67-39 Friday night to go to 13-0 Head coach Derek Bissitt. And he says the defense really got them going in the second half.

The game with Kelly Walsh was canceled Saturday so they'll play it tonight at Sheridan high school. KW hasn't had a lot of success this season but Bissitt says that won't effect the Lady Broncs.

The JV's play at 4:00 the varsity is at 5:30 and we will broadcast it live tonight on AM 14-10 KWYO starting at 5:30.

Four Sheridan Ice Figure Skaters competed in the 2011 New Year Ice Breaker figure skating competition on Saturday, January 22 in Gillette taking home either 1st or 2nd place medals in every event they entered.

Kairstyn Holden (age 9) won 3 first place medals in Delta events.

Katelyn Kayser (age 11) won 2 first place medals and 2 second place medals in Freestyle 3 events.

Elizabeth Winnop (age 14) won 2 first place medals in Freestyle 2 events.

Jessie Pattison (age 17) won 3 first place medals in Freestyle 5 events.
