Two teams from the Wyoming Rural Development Council wrapped up their two day community assessment in Sheridan with a Town Hall meeting Wednesday at Sheridan City Hall. The assessment was a five year follow up to the one that was conducted in 2004.

Sheridan Memorial Hospital conducted a couple of emergency decontamination disaster drills Wednesday. Students from Sheridan High School participated in the training exercise by posing as patients that had been contaminated by an explosion in the school's lab.

Public Invited to Easement Celebration

October 9th the public is invited to celebrate this gift to the community.

Earlier this month we reported that John and Vanessa Buyok gifted over 800 acres to the Sheridan Community Land Trust to protect it from development in perpetuity. On Saturday, October 9th, the public is invited to celebrate that gift, as CLT Executive Director Colin Betzler tells us.

After dinner and a tour of the new facility, the two groups discussed concurrent and dual enrollment, including possible legislative changes to these programs.
