Raith Durham eyes the ball and makes the catch which turns into a 31 yard touchdown as the Broncs beat Rock Springs

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Bronc football team is 4-0 after beating Rock Springs 15-6 last night. The Broncs over came five turnovers and played great defense picking up their 4th win of the season. The team's current winning streak is now at 15 straight.

Drew Slikker kicked three field goals and the Bronc defense gave up only 139 yards in total offense. They will play at home next week against Gillette.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles got two rushing touchdowns from Parker Jackson yesterday and shut out Moorcroft on the road 21-0.

Building Bio-Business in Wyoming

A two-day biotechnology conference in Sheridan wrapped up Friday afternoon. Discussion ranged from University of Wyoming Molecular Biologist Randy Lewis talking about using spider silk to produce steel-strength fiber, to broader discussions about fostering a biotech-friendly environment in Wyoming.

The Sheridan City Council convened for a special session Friday afternoon for Constitution Day as Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey proclaimed September, 17th through the 23rd as National Constitution Week. At 3 o'clock the bell in front of Sheridan City Hall rang three times to commemorate the exact time the United States Constitution was enacted 223 years ago.
