Man Accused of Kidnapping Changes Plea

A Great Falls, Montana man changed his plea on a Kidnapping charge in 4th Judicial District Court Thursday. As terms of a plea agreement with the State, Kevin Fuller plead guilty to a lesser charge of Felonious Restraint. If the Court accepts the terms of the plea agreement, Fuller could possibly serve 2 to 4 years in prison for his crime. Fuller will also receive credit for time served.

A motion hearing for 29-year-old Sheridan resident Shawn Osborne was held in 4th Judicial District Court Thursday. Osborne is charged with 1st Degree Murder for the alleged killing of Gerald Bloom in Sheridan on January 15, 2010.

District 2 Chooses Teacher of the Year

District 2 Teacher of the Year, Carol Stewart

At Monday night's Sheridan County School District 2 board meeting, the meeting began by recognizing the 2009-2010 District Teacher of the Year. This year, Sheridan High School Principal Dirleen Wheeler said that Carol Stewart, the Reading Specialist and Instructional Facilitator at SHS was chosen.

The Sheridan Broncs Host Rock Springs Tomorrow Night

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs host the Rock Springs Tigers tomorrow as they go after their fourth straight win.

They are coming off a 10-7 win at Green River last week Head coach Don Julian says it was great to pull off the victory on a night when they were not at their best.

The Broncs turn the ball over five times last week and they've worked hard this week to turn that problem around.

Planting Trees: No Time Like the Present

At Monday's School District 2 board meeting, it was announced that part of the bid awarded to Mountain View Construction for demolition and abatement of Meadowlark Elementary on DeSmet included a $45,000 alternate bid to move the numerous trees from that property to Highland Park Elementary School.
