Bid Awarded for Hi-Tech Business Park Infrastructure

The Sheridan City Council recently awarded the bid for the Hi-Tech Business Park infrastructure project to Hot Iron Inc. out of Gillette in the amount of $1.5 million. Council President John Bigelow says that the goal of the business park is to create jobs and help diversify the local economy.

Ranchester Council Considers Water Rights Request

The Ranchester Town Council considered a request from a nearby land owner at their meeting Tuesday night. Mayor Cliff Clevenger explains that the Council didn't have any major issues with what was being requested.

Loughan Sentenced for Burglary

In 4th Judicial District Court Tuesday morning, 19-year-old Justin Loughan of Sheridan received 3 to 5 years in the State Penitentiary in Rawlins, with credit for 198 days served in the Sheridan County Detention Center.
