Pine Bluffs Man Accused Of Kidnapping, Rape

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A tortuous kidnapping and rape of a Pine
Bluffs woman last spring has a suspect. Twenty-nine-year-old Refugio R. Cerenil faces more than 20 years in prison for allegedly breaking into a woman's home on April 24 and strangling her until she went unconscious.

With a sharp rise in pertussis in several states, officials with the Wyoming Department of Health are encouraging vaccination to help prevent the disease. Pertussis is better known as whooping cough. Wyoming Department of Health Director Dr. Brent Sherard.
