The West Brundage Lane construction project near the Sheridan County Airport is slated to begin this Thursday. Principal for Vista West Engineering, Randy Bomar, says that people will have to take a little bit of a detour to get to some of the businesses near the airport.

Special Olympics Torch Makes Its Way Through Sheridan

The Flame of Hope made its way through Sheridan Monday.

The Special Olympics Torch made its way through Sheridan Monday morning as local law enforcement began their trek to Buffalo from the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Dave Hofmeier commented on the 2010 Special Olympics Torch Run just prior to being handed the torch.

Counterfeiters Arrested in Sheridan

26-year-old Tonya J. Roberson of Kansas and 29-year-old Nathan Kelly Matthews of Texas were arrested early Saturday on counterfeiting charges.

Counterfeit US currency began showing up in Sheridan on May 8th, with at least four occurrences in the past week. Sheridan Police Detective Sgt. Tom Henry explains what happened next.

New Honeylocust and New Tree City

Another tree was planted by the City of Sheridan in Kendrick Park this weekend. This new honeylocust sapling is one of the many trees being planted as part of Sheridan's recent designation as a “Tree City U.S.A.,” a program started by the Arbor Day Foundation. Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey explains how this came to fruition.
