Old Murder Sentence

PINEDALE, (AP) - A Montana man will spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted in the 1984 beating and shooting death of a Wyoming woman. Forty-six-year-old Troy Dean Willoughby was sentenced Friday for the death of 25-year-old Elizabeth Miles Ehlers. Her body was found at a gravel pullout off U.S. 191 near Hoback Canyon.

Gun Show Shooting

BRIGHTON, Colo. (AP) - Prosecutors will not file charges against a man who shot his childhood friend during a Colorado gun show. Adams County prosecutors said Friday they determined the shooting was an accident after a joint investigation with the sheriff's office.

$4.5 Mil In Grants Sought For Supercomputer Road

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - A board is recommending $4.5 million in state grants for road and infrastructure improvements for a supercomputing facility west of Cheyenne.
The State Loan and Investment Board, which has the final say, will consider the recommendation from the Wyoming Business Council on April 8.

New Initiative Will Target Aquatic Invaders

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has announced a new initiative to hit aquatic invasive species where it counts. In an effort to protect Wyoming’s valuable water resources, the state legislature allocated $1.5 million to the department to implement new programs aimed at preventing the introduction of quagga and zebra mussels to Wyoming waters.
