POWELL, Wyo. (AP) - The Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody is taking steps to become greener. Facilities manager Paul Brock says the center's sustainability efforts run hand in hand with the museum's main purpose of preserving the past for the future. The movement at the center started in small steps, with changes like recycling containers in the break room.

POWELL, Wyo. (AP) - Growers in northern Wyoming whose crops were damaged or destroyed by a severe freeze in October are beginning the application process for federal aid.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Jan. 4 declared Park and Big Horn counties primary disaster areas because of a freeze that damaged area sugar beet, dry bean, alfalfa seed, corn and possibly other crops.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming police could get some direction from state lawmakers on how to deal with young people who are drinking alcohol and when it's proper to take young offenders to jail.
