With the 2011 General Session set to begin soon in the Wyoming Legislature, things have been unusually quiet in regard to any news coming out of the Appropriations Committee.

The Wyoming Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the National AIA awarded eight scholarships to Wyoming students enrolled in accredited architecture programs. The scholarships range from $2000 to $3000.
The Buffalo Chamber of Commerce drew the final two winning button numbers last week, giving Roberta Schrater, with button number 883, and an unknown person with number 1011 each $300 in Buffalo Bucks.
In what turned out to be a fairly routine call, Johnson County Fire responded to a call last Friday afternoon of a vehicle fire on Highway 16 West of Buffalo.
