Tuba Christmas Time!

The 11th Annual Tuba Christmas is coming up this Saturday. Ariel Downing, Music Director for the Big Horn High School, explains the “tuba tradition”:

Both the Broncs and Lady Broncs Win, While the Generals and Lady Generals Split

The Sheridan Bronc and Lady Bronc Basketball teams squared off against the teams from Buffalo Friday night. The Broncs held off a late run by the Bison to win at home to win by two 45-43. Meanwhile, the Lady Broncs took to the road and retained their number one ranking by crushing the Lady Bison 64-38. Both the Broncs and Lady Broncs will host Riverton today at Sheridan High School. The Lady Bronc game will tip off at 12:30 pm, while the Broncs will go at 2:30. You can catch both games live on either AM 1410 KWYO or 95.9 FM.

Cassidy Quarterman Given Major Break

In 4th Judicial District Court Friday morning, 28-year-old mother of two, Cassidy Quarterman, was sentenced on a Felony Forgery charge.

John "JJ" Hatch Sentenced Friday

17-year-old John "JJ" Hatch was sentenced in 4th Judicial District Court Friday morning. Hatch plead guilty to one felony count of Robbery and four felony counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance per a plea agreement with the State.

Agreement to Retire Wyoming Range Leases

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Two groups have announced an agreement with a petroleum company to retire nearly half of its controversial gas drilling lease acreage in the Wyoming Range.

Teen Reaches Plea Deal in Fatal Casper Shooting

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Another man accused in the fatal shooting of a Casper man during an attempted robbery has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

Freudenthal Appoints New State Judge

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Governor Dave Freudenthal has appointed Casper attorney Catherine E. Wilking to the state 7th Judicial District Court bench, which includes Natrona County.
