Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal was in Sheridan Tuesday, where he attended several events throughout the day and evening.

The groundbreaking for the Green House for Living in Sheridan facility was held Tuesday afternoon.

There were two arraignments in 4th Judicial District Court Tuesday. The first was for 18-year-old Sheridan resident Patrick Mayfield, who is charged with one count of Felony Larceny and one count of Felony Burglary.

The 65-foot conifer from Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest that will be making its way to the Nation's Capitol will have a party thrown for it when it stops in Buffalo next Monday night.

Along with the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce's button promotion, they will again this year be featuring the Seeking Santa promotion at participating stores through the Holiday shopping season.

The November School District 2 Board of Trustees meeting began with two presentations. First, Dana Wyatt and several of her KidWitness News kids discussed their award-winning, totally kid-produced competition piece on Texting that was recently selected to go to a global competition.

Tuesday morning at about 8:30, Casper police apprehended a juvenile male for a possible abduction / kidnapping of his stepfather earlier in the morning from Sheridan. Sheridan Police Detective Lt. Chris Dahmke explains.
