Buffalo Police to Thin Urban Deer Herd; Meat Available

The Buffalo Police Department will again this year be regulating the deer population in the city by harvesting them through a cooperative effort with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

The Wyoming Secretary of State's Office released some preliminary information regarding statewide voter turnout Wednesday. State Election Director Peggy Nighswonger says that the unofficial numbers are a bit lower than in previous elections.

The Buffalo City Council, at their regular meeting Tuesday, approved on first reading an ordinance banning the sale, use and possession of certain intoxicating substances, commonly referred to as “Spice.”

Plane Crash: Victims' Bodies Recovered

(Lander, WY) – Fremont County Coroner Ed McAuslan said Wednesday that a recovery operation to remove the bodies of four plane crash victims from a crash site deep in the Wind River Mountains of northwest Wyoming went smoothly on Tuesday. He said the operation began at 7:00 a.m.
