PLUC Raffle Drawing Next Tuesday

Public Land Users Committee Secretary Phyllis Simon

The Public Land Users Committee, or PLUC, is in the final days of selling raffle tickets as a means of raising funds to help with expenses incurred on a fencing project at 3-Poles Recreation Area. Tickets are $5 apiece or $20 for a book of five, and the prizes are either a Savage Rifle or a Hoyt Bow.

Drug Free Workplace Training Postponed

Drug-Free Workplace training scheduled for October 12th has been postponed to sometime in February.

Next Tuesday, October 12th was to be a Fall Drug Free Workplace training for employers. The event has been postponed to next February. Pam Peldo is the Chairperson of the Sheridan County Partnership for a Drug-Free Workplace.

Broncs upend Red Devils

BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and converted two Evanston 4th quarter turnovers into scores and beat the Red Devils 45-23. The Broncs are now 6-1 and will play at Cheyenne Central next Friday.

EAGLES FOOTBALL - The Tongue River Eagles lost another heart breaker Friday, Newcastle converted a 4th quarter 2-point conversion and beat the Eagles 8-6. The Eagles will host the "Thunder Bowl" next week against Big Horn.
