Going Hi-Tech in Sheridan

A groundbreaking for Vacutech's light manufacturing facility was held Thursday at the Hi-Tech Business Park in north Sheridan.

The City of Sheridan hosted a media conference Thursday to welcome a new business to the community. Owners from Vacutech were in town to break ground on a 40- to 45,000 square foot facility that will be located within the Hi-Tech Business Park in north Sheridan.

This building on Double Eagle Drive and East Ridge Road in Sheridan is home to many hi-tech businesses.

Earlier this week Forward Sheridan hosted an open house for their business incubator on Double Eagle Drive in Sheridan.

FORT CAMPBELL, Kentucky - Sgt. First Class Phillip C. Tanner of Sheridan died Tuesday, October 26th at Ali Al Salem, Kuwait, of injuries sustained in a non-combat incident.

GENERALS BASKETBALL - The Sheridan college Generals open the new basketball season November 9th but Head coach Steve Smiley and the Generals are giving you a chance to get a preview look at this year's team. They will host an exhibition game with free admission Saturday night in the Hoffman dome. A couple of familiar names will be playing against the Generals.
