BRONC FOOTBALL - The Sheridan Broncs blew out Cheyenne East Friday night to even their record at 1-1 they went out to a 21-0 first quarter lead and pulled away to lead 49-7 at halftime in the second half coach Don Julian called off the dogs the Broncs would score one more time and win the game 56-21.
next week they play at home against number one ranked Green River.

Expect To See More Of Sheridan Mayor Out And About This Month

With all of the school's in Sheridan County back in session, it's no surprise that were seeing more and more kids' out and about these days. One familiar face that Sheridan residents may see a little more frequently this month is that of Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey.

Game And Fish To Treat Cook Lake Later This Month

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will chemically treat Cook Lake the week of September 28th, 2009. The goal of this treatment is to remove white suckers, black bullhead and green sunfish from the lake in order to produce better conditions for the variety of trout species stocked in Cook Lake each year.

September is Archeology Awareness Month

The Fort Laramie National Historic Site is celebrating its 175th anniversary and it is featured on this year's “Wyoming Archeology Awareness Month” poster. Governor Dave Freudenthal recently proclaimed September as Archeology Awareness month.
