Three Arraigned in Sheridan County District Court Thursday

In 4th Judicial District Court Thursday morning, 20-year-old Brandon Jones went before Judge John Fenn for arraignment. Jones pleaded not guilty to one count of burglary and one count of aggravated burglary after being arrested July 27th in connection with string of burglaries in the Ranchester area.

Name of Wyoming Resident Killed By SwineFlu Has Been Released

CHEYENNE, (AP) - The young woman who this week became the first Wyoming resident to die of swine flu has been identified by her family as Irene F. Warren. The 21-year-old from Riverton died Tuesday at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

Sage Grouse Lek Count Finds Slight Decline

CHEYENNE, (AP) - Indications are that sage grouse populations in Wyoming have fallen the last two years and may fall again this year. However, a state report issued last month says the birds are still better off than previous population lows recorded in the 1990s.

Montana Man Accused of Kidnapping Receives Preliminary Hearing in Sheridan Circuit Court

48-year-old Great Falls, MT resident Kevin I. Fuller had his preliminary hearing in Sheridan County Circuit Court Thursday, appearing before Judge John Sampson. Fuller is charged with Felony Kidnapping in an August 7th incident.

In a news release from the Sheridan Senior Center, Director of Development, Rindy West, states that the Beverly Foundation of Albuquerque, New Mexico announced the Sr. Center as the recipient of its STAR Award for Senior Transportation Services.
