HS GOLF - The first competition of the fall sports season is in the books, as the Sheridan Bronc golfers blew the field away, winning the Sheridan Invitational at Kendrick Golf Course. Five Broncs placed in the Top 10 with a total of 593 strokes. Gillette was 2nd, 49 shots behind the Broncs.

Local Officials Continue To Battle The Problem Of Prescription Drug Abuse

The Wyoming Department of Health released a report last week that stated that between 2005 and 2008 the number of prescription drug related fatalities in the state of Wyoming increased by more than 100%.

Sheridan Police Sergeant Tom Ringley says that just this week they've had to deal with a number of incidents involving prescription drugs.

South Dam Rehab Is Going Well At Lake DeSmet

The Lake DeSmet Counties Coalition addressed an ongoing concern during their latest meeting this week. County Commissioner and Coalition Member, Bob Rolston.

And speaking of the South Dam rehab project, Rolston says things are looking good.

Three Arraigned in Sheridan County District Court Thursday

In 4th Judicial District Court Thursday morning, 20-year-old Brandon Jones went before Judge John Fenn for arraignment. Jones pleaded not guilty to one count of burglary and one count of aggravated burglary after being arrested July 27th in connection with string of burglaries in the Ranchester area.
