Kelly Schreibeis Memorial Foundation Helps Those Undergoing Breast Cancer Treatment

Soon after the passing of Kelly Schreibeis to breast cancer in October of 2003, friends and family formed the Kelly Schreibeis Memorial Foundation to help provide financial assistance for basic necessities, for residents of Sheridan County undergoing breast cancer treatment.

5th Annual Big Horn Mountain Festival Is This Weekend

The 5th annual Big Horn Mountain Festival in Buffalo gets underway tomorrow at the Johnson County Fairgrounds and will run through Sunday. The three day festival is home to some of the country's best musicians and the Wyoming mandolin and banjo championships.

Record Numbers Reported For June In Yellowstone

Visitation numbers at Yellowstone Park continue to rise. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has more.

Officials with Yellowstone National Park report that they had a record number of visitors in the month of June and for the first six months of the year.

Boot Kickoff Draws Huge Crowd to Kendrick Park

It's official: Sheridan WYO Rodeo week has begun. Last night's Boot Kick-Off filled Kendrick Park with spectators and contestants in the opening event for Rodeo Week. While many of the people were veteran attendees, there were some new faces in the crowd.

County Commissioners Hold First Meeting In July

The Sheridan County Commissioners are asking County employees to contribute to their own health insurance premiums. Previously, employees would only be required to pay for spouse or family coverage.
