Downtown construction will continue for a few more months and as the Brooks Street project continues, traffic detours will continue to change. Next week drivers will have to take extra time to get to certain downtown locations.

Sheridan County Fair Continues Through The Weekend

There’s only a few more days of the Sheridan County Fair this year. Open class competitions begin today and the entertainers will arrive. Tonight the Whitlocks will perform a concert underneath the grandstands at 8:00, after the pocket pets show in the sale ring. Sheridan High School golfers Kamrin Allen and Cameron Lindell are playing in the Junior Americas cup golf tournament in California. The event started yesterday, Allen fired a 3-over par 73 on day one. His round included five bogeys and two birdies, he is three shots off the lead tied for 11th place.

SEEDA Gets Update On Early Childhood Education Center

There are only a few weeks left before the Hand-in-Hand Early Childhood Education Center facility will be complete. Now is crunch time for the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority. The Board has to make sure that all the final funding for the building is in place.
