Registration and Student Housing Looks Good for College District

The Northern Wyoming Community College District held their monthly board meeting Thursday. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has this report.

SHERIDAN COUNTY AIRPORT CELEBRATES 75 YEARS OF AIRMAIL SERVICE SATURDAY

75 years of airmail service in Sheridan will be celebrated tomorrow at the Sheridan County Airport with a number of events. Commemorative post cards will be for sale that will be airmailed to several different locations. Bruce Garber will be piloting one of the two airplanes that will be taking flight.

CULPEPPER AND MERRIWEATHER CIRCUS IS IN TOWN FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS

The Culpepper and Merriweather Circus is in town for a handful of performances beginning tonight. The Sheridan Recreation District has made the shows possible and Director Richard Wright explains where it's going to take place.

Wright says there's something for kids' of all ages.

The annual Big horn mountain wild and scenic trail run gets underway tomorrow morning at 6 o'clock with the start of the 100 mile race.

SEVERAL FUNNEL CLOUDS SPOTTED IN SHERIDAN COUNTY WEDNESDAY

Shortly after 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon there were several reports of numerous funnel clouds in Sheridan County. A call to the National Weather Service in Billings confirmed that there was indeed some weather in our area throughout the lunch hour yesterday that was more than capable of producing a tornado.
