The State Track meet is going on is Casper. Today is the final day of competition here are some results from day two. Sheridan Lady Broncs Steph Brown finished 2nd in the 800 meters. Brandon Forister was 3rd in the pole vault and Tristan Chartier was 7th. Mitch Hoy was 8th in the shot put both teams fell one spot into 3rd place in the team race.

This weekend is the kick-off of the river recreation season in Wyoming. Rivers are running high and fast, which is a lure for whitewater lovers, but it’s also the time of year when river accidents peak.

TOWN OF DAYTON GRANTS TEMPORARY EXTENSION FOR TONGUE RIVER COMMUNICATIONS

Earlier this week a representative from Tongue River Communications approached the Dayton Town Council requesting an exception on moving some overhead lines. Dayton recently passed an ordinance that requires any new service lines to be buried underground.

Dayton Mayor Bob Wood explains that's where the request came in.

WYOMING COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FUNDS SHERIDAN INN MURAL RESTORATION

The Sheridan Heritage Center has received a $5,000 grant award from the Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) through its Sheridan/Johnson County affiliate. Sheridan Media's Mary Jo Johnson has the story.
