GLENROCK, (AP) - The Natrona County coroner says a piece of a human skull found east of Evansville this week could belong to a young pioneer who died while traveling the Oregon Trail. A Glenrock plumbing contractor digging a hole to work on a water line found the bone Tuesday.

CHEYENNE, (AP) - State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jim McBride says he's running for a second full term. McBride made the announcement Friday through his campaign committee. The 61-year-old McBride is a Republican. He says on his Web site that his vision is for the Wyoming Department of Education to be recognized as one of the best education systems in the nation.
