Shipments of the H1N1 vaccine have been slow to arrive in many communities throughout the country. Sheridan County has received 2,400 doses of the vaccine to date, with more arriving on a weekly basis. Sheridan County Public Health Nurse Katie Hiller explains the distribution process.
The wheels are in motion for the first phase of the Wrench Ranch Subdivision in north Sheridan. City of Sheridan Planning Director Robert Briggs says that phase one of the subdivision will include commercial and industrial development.
Phase one of the Wrench Ranch subdivision consists of just under 100 acres.
Fort MacKenzie High School students have shown increased performance in just the first two months of the school year. Fort MacKenzie Principal Laurien Rahimi credits part of that increase to the Discovery Wilderness Quest, which began the year for FMH students.

The Sheridan City Council held a work session on Monday to receive a report on the current inventory of water and wastewater operations. The presentation was designed to give councilors a better idea of what is involved in the Utilities department operations.
The numbers are in from the first quarter of the 2010 fiscal year for Sheridan County School District 2. As of September 30th the District had spent nearly 13% of its budget and received 18% of the projected revenues for the year.
During their monthly meeting the Sheridan County School District 2 Board of Trustees passed a number of new policies on second reading. The policies included an update to the harassment policy. The policy was modeled after one written by attorneys for the Wyoming School Boards Association.
